Music
Music is perhaps not the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about the RAF Air Cadets, but we do have squadron marching bands, a national band and a syllabus through which cadet can learn to play related instruments. Those who already play an instrument, even if it is not one suited to a military/marching band, are already well placed to join one of the bands or help others learn to play.
Musical activities are usually based around fundraising or ceremonial events such as Remembrance Sunday, but there are also national camps, showcases and competitions that take place around the country each year.
